Gerald Scarfe: Stage and Screen -House of Illustration
His drawings are very intricate and show many lively but ghastly characters recreatable on stage.
Interesting contrast between size of props and the actors (small rows of people in the bathtub)
Love all these stop motion strips! They are simply drawn but so lively.
Trying to appropriate their forms and expression.
I love the movement and structure of these bodies.
Storyboards. Could learn showing movement and sequence.
Orpheus in the underworld. Even though the underworld lords are made of food, they still look rather terrifying. Maybe I could create something similar for my PP with food as haunting nightmares and characters.
