Researching paper theatres
I was given a paper theatre as a gift, which just so came as inspiration. This is a paper theatre and storytelling book of Sleeping Beauty for children.
Along with it comes a booklet of the story.
The front/ the "stage" with decor.
Top view. It has two slots for the reader to insert frames into, but the theatre actually has two other hidden spaces available for slotting, one at the back and one at front. I might also want to allow 3 to 4 layers. One thing I didn't like about this paper theatre was that the slots have restricted the depth of where the elements should be located, so I will definitely make mine more deep.
Side view. The side supports keep the stage well standing and secures stage elements in place.
Instead of following the story, I wanted to make my own and see what visuals I could procure out of the existing elements. And here is what I have:
Frozen: finding Elsa
Seeing the prince naked
The Shining
Secret gay courtship spotted in the woods
