Colour perry books
Shown in the Colour Perry Book Lecture.
I like the composition of this page along with sea animals of different dimensions.
The seal is very lively and dynamic.
I like how silly but adorable this flower character is, even if she is very simply composed.
Look at the different expressions: the stern faces and the baby's happy smile. The mice look like they're pretending to be zombies and I love how each family member has food portions allocated according to their size or status.
This (smaller-than) pocket sized book makes the book delicate.
But the coloured prints are still very effective. There's a line on the bottom left of the page: is that a crop mark? Most characters in the books are cartoonish but very lively.
