Photos from visiting Old Spitalfields market
I caught Charlie sketching, but also a man changing trash bags.
Antique stalls and their owners. I like how the old couple and the men at the right form a "face-off" of some sort: should I come closer? Are they coming closer?
Mesmerized by the globes in this furniture corner. It is slightly weird to find this cozy bookish corner stripped bare of its usual environment and laying in the open air of the market.
Old Spitalfields Market also has a wealth of big chain store restaurants. I find them quite separated from the stalls and even the atmosphere is different. The restaurants are more organized and classy where working people dine undisturbed by the environment of the market.
Top view. The market looks like it is divided by checkers and individual small squares.
A relatable tote bag design.
Lots of cutesy felted baby shoes.
