Zine Crit (what i like about other people's work)
I like the harmonious colour palettes of the original paintings.
I like the casual mark-making which forms a narrative, coupled by a riso-printing effect on them. They remind me of Peter Rabbit.
Simple but eye-catching.
Thorough development and exploration work.
Love the watercoloury texture.
I just love the distortion of Breadman!
Simple silhouette shapes form humans.
Very neat and intensive linedrawings, and the background colour of the sheets compliment them well.
Like the transition and the expanding yellowness.
Love these different designs and how well-contained they are as VCD cover jackets.
To me a smart representation of time and the things documented within that period.
Love the collaged word effect and the feeling of print and textures overlapping together! Too bad it is not finished yet.
Very rigorous approach to the brief and very well done and presented!
They would look super fun if they are animated further. The colour scheme is eye catching.
Very expressive mark-making and works well with the abstract/non-explicit narrative!
Unfolded spread looks like a poster to me.
Mine- I could present it better, maybe print some blown up images of my original drawings. My zine is quite small and delicate which might not immediately catch the eye, but it is full of hidden folds and images.
