Take A Break Exhibition by Lazy Oafs
Lots of amazing inspiring work by illustrators I know and don't know! I enjoy how they are not simply ornamental or visual-appealing, but narrative and communicative in their own visual language.
Love the geometrical shapes composing this human figure.
Love objects pretending to be other objects. If there is a word for that.
Bold primary colour scheme
Deliberately intrusive figure with those very long eyes- would be nice if people can sit down on/ beside him. Made by David Mendez Alonso: he is situated in both fashion and illustration which is refreshing.
Comic portrayal of a grave.
Happy silhouette.
Surreal imagery/ sequence by Luna Monogatari. Her work has a Japanese Influence but at the same time she has a rich visual language incorporating perspectives, patterns and overlapping elements in her work.
